When a search is first made via a search box I can see in the URL the affiliate ID codes that I have provided. However, if on the search screen a customer clicks the 'change your search' blue button and makes an amendment (i.e. from 2 adults to 4 adults) then the resulting search URL no longer has the affiliate ID's. Why is this? Will I loose commission if someone makes such a change with the blue button and then books a holiday?
Commissions are tracked regardless of what the user does within the session. Your unique QuickStart ID is remembered for the entire session, so the fact that the URL changes isn't relevant. We are actually phasing out the passing of affiliate ID's in the querystring, so you will see these disappear altogether shortly and only your QuickStart ID will be passed, allowing us to format your links correctly based on the ID's stored in your account.
